With Google’s annual Android event coming close, the web is ablaze with rumors and leaks about the upcoming Nexus device from Google. With clear pictures of the devices’ boxes to their rumored specs, we have to say most of these rumors can get a bit out of hand. This is why it made sense for us to skip baseless rumors about the soon to be released Huawei Nexus 6P as much as possible, that is until now.
In a latest scoop from Android Police, we finally get to view the Nexus 6P (as shown in the picture above) in all its glory. The device looks just like how most rumors speculated. With a black front and a “mostly” white back, the Nexus 6P surely looks a bit different from its predecessors. The main difference of course arises from the rear finger print scanner and an out of place looking black bar containing the camera and flash. To be honest, no one really knowa whether that black bar contains any extra sensors or if it’s just there for show but almost everyone can agree that it does add a bit of an unwanted hiccup in what otherwise would had been a clean, crisp device.
For those of you who are in the dark, the Huawei Nexus 6P is going to be officially unveiled on September 31, 2015 and is expected to have a Snapdragon 810 SoC. The device will be made availabe in 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB variants as well as moving to the USB Type-C standard. Till then, we can only speculate whether the little black bump in the device will bring something innovative to the Android smart phones or not. If you have an idea about what it could be just give us a shout out in the comment section below, we would love to hear from you.
