HTC One was a great smartphone and it’s only natural that we are getting excited about HTC M8. HTC M8 is allegedly a code name for the HTC One 2, and we do hope that HTC doesn’t actually name the smartphone with these two place holders. Today we have some blurry pictures which aim to show us what is being said to be the HTC M8. The leaked picture shows the back of the HTC M8 we can clearly see that HTC is using two cameras on the back.
There were some leaks about the HTC M8 before but they were deemed fake by HTC themselves. The previous Photoshopped picture showed the flash with two different holes. HTC regional Director Marc Moons himself noticed the floating picture and called it a fake. Sure enough today we have another picture which shows the dual flash housed in a single hole.
As for specs, HTC M8 is supposed to come with a full HD 1080p display of at least 5 inches. That being said, we are hoping that HTC at least puts a fast processor inside the HTC M8. The flagship market is certainly heating up and while 1080p is a good resolution for smartphones of 5 inch sized screens, the industry is moving towards QHD displays. What if Samsung brings a much powerful screen into the mix? Well then HTC M8 will once again take the sidelines. There is a dual camera system on the HTC M8 though, and only time will tell how effective it actually is in real use.
The HTC M8 is rumored to come with a quad core Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3 GHz. There is also Adreno 330 GPU along with 2 GB of RAM inside the smartphone. The back camera is an UltraPixel 4 MP one while the front is a 5 MP standard one. This is also the first time the front camera is of higher resolution than the main camera (but not in quality hopefully.
