Hyundai is almost never on the top of the list when you go out tablet shopping, but that doesn’t stop the company to make nice products. Last year Hyundai released the T7 which was a very affordable and powerful tablet, this year Hyundai T7S is being released. The Hyundai T7S provides almost the same specs but are providing upgrades to several key components. But in quite honesty, we never buy Hyundai tablets because of their innovative and otherworldly spec sheets; we buy them because they are sturdy and very affordable.
What are the said upgrades the Hyundai T7S is going to introduce then? Well they are not quite numerous. The 7 inch tablet will feature 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of on board storage this time around. The camera has also been given a slight bump to 5 megapixels and a 3,000 mAh battery will be enough to provide juice for 5 hours that is what Hyundai said. The rest of the specs remain the same though, the Hyundai T7S will feature the very same Samsung Exynos 4412 processor coupled with Mali 400 GPU. The 7 inch screen will have a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, there will also be a 0.3 MP front facing camera. Usual connectivity options like GPS, Bluetooth, and HDMI, a TF card slot is also featured.
While hardware is not the strong suit of Hyundai T7S, the tablet takes great marks when it comes to pricing. The 7 inch quad core Hyundai T7S is going for $186 and that is only $20 more than the last year’s model. The only thing which we find odd was that the tablet will be running only Android version 4.0, we were hoping that the Hyundai T7S will at least run on 4.1. It’s true what they say, one can never have everything, but don’t make up your mind just yet though as it is quite early to pass judgement.
