Vobis Computer Announces “Highscreen Zeus” for Russia
Back in July, we mentioned a company called Vobis Computer and their handset the HighScreen PP5420. The relatively small outfit is back, and this time they have a model that rolls off the tongue just a little bit better. It’s called the Highscreen Zeus, and it too will be Russia-bound for roughly 13,990 rubles ($483 US dollars).
The Highscreen Zeus has similar specifications to current crop of Android handsets. It’s a slideout QWERTY with a 3.2-inch screen, and 3 mega-pixel camera. We’re not sure how well a handset like can sell at that price. Maybe it would fare better in a Russian market than here in the US, but it’s just tough to imagine these specs commanding that dollar amount. It’s not know what version of Android will be loaded, but we’re guessing 1.5 or 1.6. Hey, at least it’s kinda cute… right?
