HTC has been in trouble for quite some while now, this is probably why earlier this year some executives decided to make Kazam. Kazam is a company which aims to provide customers “stunning design, robust hardware, and intuitive technology, underpinned with improved customer service”. Kazam has announced 7 new smartphones today and it’s really hard to see any robust technology here. All 7 of the smartphones run on Android and are from mid to budget range ones, there is nothing specially about them but we are sure that Kazam will price them reasonably.
While we cannot say that Kazam actually has a top-end smartphone in the lineup, the closest to a flagship is the Kazam Thunder Q4.5. It is being said that the top-tier series will be termed Thunder. Anyways the Kazam Thunder Q4.5 will offer a 4.5 inch screen with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. There will be a 1.3 GHz quad core processor along with 1 GB of RAM inside the Kazam Thunder Q4.5. The smartphone will also come with an 8 MP rear facing camera, only 4 Gb of internal storage along with microSD card slot. There will also be a 5 inch variant in the future probably called the Kazam Thunder Q5.0, but we don’t know anything about that right now.
The Trooper series will be the low-end one and contains Kazam X3.5, X4.5, X5.0 and X5.5. The names give away the screen sizes of the smartphone the smallest one, Kazam Trooper X3.4 will have 480 x 320 pixels resolution while the largest Kazam Trooper X5.5 will have 854 x 480. The bottom end will come with a dual core 1 GHz SoC while the larger ones will feature dual core 1.2 GHz SoC. All of the smartphone will have dual SIM support, 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of storage space. All of them will also run on Android 4.2. Kazam is also providing 1 year warrant on the smartphone and will even replace them if you drop and break them. There is no word on the prices or availability of the smartphones though.
