Usually we don’t like to buy super cheap phone from super unknown brands. But sometimes fate doesn’t want us to have the Galaxies or the Nexuses; sometimes it wants us to buy a Kogan phone. The Kogan Agora fortunately is nice and cheap and probably will be sufficient if you want it for someone else. I have seen people opt for these brands when they have a forgetful father, clumsy cousin, worrisome wife or silly sister, and these devices most of the time perform admirably for them.
Kogan Agora was announced by the Australian tech company recently. The Kogan Agora although have a very “colorful” history which features huge helpings of disappointments but the company is moving forward now. The Kogan Agora is a dual SIM smartphone which will run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich as its operating system. The phone will boast a 5 inch large screen with a small resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. A dual core 1 GHz Cortex A9 processor will be sufficient to bear the burden of the Android OS.
The Kogan Agora will have a 5 Mega pixel rear facing camera as well as a 0.3 MP front facing one. Integrated FM radio and support for 850, 900, 1900 and 2100MHz 3G frequencies will also be included. The Kogan Agora will be retailing foe AUD $149 ($US149/£119) excluding delivery charges and will be available only via the online Kogan store. The company will be shipping the device to 11 other countries apart from its mother land; US and the UK are included among the lucky 11. The shipping will start from mid-February. The dual SIM Kogan Agora is launching just a month after the company stated Kogan mobile network in Australia.
