Lenovo has shown a new smartphone called the Lenovo A805e at 2014 Tianyi Fair which was sponsored by China Mobile. The Lenovo A805e is a new phablet smartphone which comes with a large 5.5 inch screen and some intriguing specs to follow. So what is so impressive about this smartphone you may ask, well to be honest it’s the price at which it is going to launch. The Lenovo A805e is supposed to be priced under the $200 price mark making it one of the few affordable phablets available in the market. Sure there is tough competition for the Lenovo A805e already, especially in China but it is a well-established brand and we can see the smartphone make an impact.

On to the spec side of the Lenovo A805e, the smartphone comes with a rather powerful 64 bit quad core Snapdragon 410 processor which is clocked at 1.2 GHz. The smartphone also hosts 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage space. We do hope there is a microSD card slot somewhere on the smartphone though; a 5.5 inch screen is perfect for movie watching. Speaking of the screen the 5.5 incher has a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels which is OK given the low price of the product. On the back we can find an 8 MP camera and on the inside there is a 2500 mAh battery keeping the lights on.

The smartphone is going to come with 4G LTE connectivity and NFC which is quite impressive to say the least. The Lenovo A805e also comes with dual SIM capabilities, as is the trend in China. The smartphone will be available in the middle of July and is going to be priced really competitively. There will be a black, which or champagne gold version of Lenovo A805e available on launch day.
