The LG G Flex has seen its fair share of leaks and rumors but recently the smartphone has been made official. LG has announced that they will be releasing a smartphone called the LG G Flex which is indeed a curved smartphone. The LG G Flex will feature all the things which were previously seen and heard in the rumors. The smartphone indeed has a curved display which makes it a direct contender to the Samsung Galaxy Round.
The LG G Flex has a 6 inch screen which has a 720p resolution. This is the only problem with the otherwise stellar smartphone. A 720p resolution on a 6 inch device will be quite noticeable for many of the keen eyed users. But the first gen limitations are quite understandable. The LG G Flex also has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor which is clocked at 2.26 GHz. There is 2 GB of Ram in the LG G Flex as well as a 13 MP camera on the back. The LG G Flex comes with a rather impressive 3500 mAh battery which seems to be non-removable. The LG G Flex also features buttons placed on the back of the smartphone just like the LG G2.
The battery on the LG G Flex is very impressive and suffice to say it will last a day easily. The back side of the LG G Flex is also something special, it is said to self-heal after being scratched. This is something we will love to see in action. The LG G Flex is announced for all three major carriers in South Korea and will be arriving in November but there is no word about its global availability. The price is also up in the air as of yet. We will update you once the international release and the price is announced for the LG G Flex.
