The Indian tablet manufacture Notion Ink has gained a lot of praise due to its Adam tablet which was first released back in 2011. Now after 2 long years, which are almost like 2 decades in technology world, the company is apparently reading its Notion Ink Adam II tablet. Quite frankly this update is more than welcome for the fans of the old tablet which is quite outdated now. Although there is no official release date set for the Notion Ink Adam II, a leak has given us a detail insight about what we can expect form the tablet.
If the first source is giving correct information, the Notion Ink Adam II will cost around Rs. 12,000 (which comes around $220, £142, €168). And if the second source of info is true, the price is perfectly reasonable for what the Notion Ink Adam II tablet has to offer spec wise. This asking price is almost half of what the first iteration of the tablet is going on Flipkart these days, so we must say this is the right move for the tablet manufacture. It is also said that the Indian government’s Science and Technology department is funding the development of Notion Ink Adam II tablet; this is why the price is kept low.
As for what is inside the Notion Ink Adam II tablet, there is an ARM Cortex A9 dual core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz. There is 1 GB of RAM, and a 6,000 mAh battery tucked inside too. Two cameras are also on the Notion Ink Adam II tablet, both are of 2 MP. The 10.1 inch screen has 1280 x 800 pixels resolution with a 16:10 ratio. There is also a secondary monochromatic display which is on the top side of the Notion Ink Adam II tablet. More like a book cover if you will; it will provide basic information and notifications. We will keep you updated with more news regarding the Notion Ink Adam II tablet and of course the official unveiling.
