ZTE is a Chinese manufacturer which was previously limited in its own country and neighboring regions. The company has decided to release their amazingly priced smartphones, the ZTE Nubia 5 and ZTE Grand S in the U.S. Pre orders for these two smartphone will be starting on October 5th. This is what ZTE had to say about their plans:
“We’ve been looking forward to bringing the Grand S to the U.S. since we announced the device at CES. Our goal is to launch more products like this in the future.”-Lixin Cheng, Chairman and CEO, ZTE USA
Both the ZTE Nubia 5 and ZTE Grand S have their benefits and are remarkable Android smartphones. The ZTE Grand S will be the most thin smartphone available in the United States coming at only .27 inch thickness. The smartphone will also feature a 5 inch screen with 1080p Full HD resolution. The ZTE Grand S will have scratch resistant glass along with stellar 440ppi pixel density. The ZTE Grand S is powered by a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz. The ZTE Grand S boasts 13 MP back and 2 MP front facing cameras and will come with a 1780 mAh battery. The ZTE Grand S will be available for only $399.99.
The second smartphone the ZTE Nubia 5 will be up for pre order starting from Sunday on ZTE official site and Amazon for a price of $449.99. The ZTE Nubia 5 will also have a 5 inch screen with full HD 1080p resolution. The smartphone also has Gorilla Glass and pixel density of 443 ppi. The smartphone runs on a quad core Snapdragon s4 Pro processor clocked at 1.5 GHz along with 2 GB of RAM. There is 16 GB on board memory. The ZTE Nubia 5 also has a 13 MP rear (with Konica-Minolta) camera and a 2 MP front facing one.
We are impressed with both of the smartphone partially due to their good specs and partially due to their very reasonable prices.
