Summary : A Delectable Jumper
There are not many ways you can remake Doodle Jump and make the game appealing. However Jelly Jump is a game which not only achieves the same level of interactive fun but also make the game visually interesting. The basic premise is simple, tap on the screen so the jelly can jump up to a higher platform. But the way this idea translates on our Android screens is what makes this particular game stand out from the other games in the tap to move forward genre.
First off I would like to say that this game is visually impressive and yet is not taxing at all. The 3D-ish graphics of the game look really great on any smartphone or tablet screen. I also like how giggly the jelly feels and interacts with the platform. It is almost as if you have dropped a chunk of jelly on your screen. The game also changes the background and jelly colors randomly to keep things interesting. I loved the black and white background and orange jelly combo in the game.
The gameplay is quite simple, you need to tap on the screen to make the jelly jump. However you will need to time your taps as the platform above will close in a few moments. This makes the game exciting and challenging. I also like that the levels are not randomly designed, the first platform will always react the same way. Practice will actually make you better at the game. The game lacks a catchy soundtrack, this is the only downside of playing it. Other than that, Jelly Jump keeps things neat and clean. The ads are there obviously but are not rampant or in your face. I would recommend this game to people who want to spend a good time without committing long hours to a mobile game. Play it at your leisure and your pleasure.
