Let’s face it editing is one of the hardest tasks when it comes to the process of releasing a video. Not only does the process take a whole lot of time but often at times you just fail to deliver what you envisioned in your head. Sure, if you do get it right you do get the reward by getting some sort of publicity (which is just nameless people sharing your video without any credit) but apart from that you get nothing. This is where the social aspects of apps like MixBit come in handy.
MixBit is a social video editing app that allows friends to edit each other’s videos from the comfort of their tablets or mobile devices. The app was released and developed by YouTube co-founders Steven Chen and Chad Hurley making it one of those apps you should keep an eye out for.
The app allows users to shoot, edit and publish videos from their mobile devices with the videos being shot in different clips. While there is a time and clip restriction of 16 seconds or 256 clips on each video being uploaded, MixBit still has the potential to be a great app for new video editors to show their talents to the world and also make friends in the process as well.
While the app has seen quite great success on the iOS since its August release, the developers are hoping that it won’t be much different for Android. Personally, I also don’t see any reason why people shouldn’t use this app as not only does it provide a great way to socialize but also manages to bring people of similar interests together. So, if you are bored or just are looking to do something novel with your time, we suggest that you grab MixBit for free by clicking the link down below.
