Rumors are just pouring in now a days as we count down the days till the MWC to find if any of the stated rumors were true or just some speculations started by some person bored out of their skulls. We are pretty positive about the fact that we may very well be hearing about the M7 at HTC’s conference that is going to be held on the 19th of this month. If you don’t remember the M7 is essentially the same DNA/Butterfly with a 4.7 inch screen, 13 megapixel camera and a much better version of Sense.
Anyhow, coming back rumors have been found that HTC might be thinking of launching two new sets namely the M4 and the G2. Apart from the mechanic names for their cellphones this can be actually true as the rumors originate from the infamous Twitter account @evleaks who has had its fair share of stating true rumors.
The M4 as the name suggests would be a cheaper version of the M7 and would have a 4.3 inch 720p display, 1.2 GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon, the same 13 megapixel camera along with half of the internal storage. If this doesn’t scream a capable device, I don’t know what does.
The second phone however I am very skeptic about as it’s supposedly a low end smartphone, a category in which HTC doesn’t usually dabble in due to the fact that Huawei and ZTE maintain a strong market in that category. The G2 would have a 3 .5 inch HVGA screen, 1 GHz processor with a 5 megapixel rear camera running on 512 MB of RAM.
So, apparently the two sets are something that have been added to HTC’s portfolio for 2013. But do remember that these are just rumors and may very well be untrue. What do you think? Apart from the M4 is the new G2 something that you will even think of buying considering you have many better options in the low price range?
