Rumor has it: Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Plus with 2560×1600 display

123So it wasn’t so long before since we revealed the rumors about the Galaxy Tab 3 and how some of it’s images (real or fake, I am still skeptical) surfaced on the web. Well, apparently the rumors don’t stop there as today more rumors surfaced on the web which could indicate that Samsung might be preparing not one but two 10.1 inch tabs for the world to be released in this year. Yes, there might be a brother/sister to the Galaxy Tab 3, namely the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Plus. Creative name, but then again it’s all in the hardware and not the name.

The original Galaxy Tab 3, as shown in the images yesterday is going to be given the model name: GT-P5200. Now things get a little interesting as today a sheet for a model no. GT-P8200 was supposedly leaked (well not leaked as the .xml file is available on Samsung’s website). This tablet is the one that we are referring as the Galaxy Tab 3 Plus.

So what will be new in this Plus Tab? Well as far as we can speculate on the basis of the shown image that Samsung was courteous enough to share to confirm the existence of GT-P8200. It seems that the Galaxy Tab 3 Plus would support a screen resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels as the file confirms instead of the 1280 x 800 pixels supported by the normal Tab 3. This resolution as many of you may recall this screen resolution is similar to Google’s Nexus 10.

So what does this mean? My guess is that the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 would be the supposed budget tablet while the Galaxy Tab 3 Plus would be the real successor to the Galaxy Tab 2.

So when can we expect this product? Again my speculation is that it will be showcased in this year’s MWC even if Samsung is not going to hold a press conference there they just might showcase the product to generate hype among it’s fans. I mean how much can they make us suffer right? I want to know if their tab is going to be as good as Nexus or not. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do tell us in the comments below.
