Rumor: Samsung Galaxy S7 Design Renders Leaked

Now that 2015 is almost over, we are back to speculating about the next models of our beloved smartphones. Naturally, the Samsung Galaxy S7 is going to be one of the biggest Android smartphone come 2016. However, it seems that we already have some alleged design photos of the much awaited smartphone. Take a gander at them right now for yourself and head on to read what we think about the design.

Samsung Galaxy S7Compared to the previous Galaxy flagship smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S7 seems a bit too familiar. Perhaps we are spoiled by the sudden design change from the Galaxy S5 to Galaxy S6. It would be wrong to completely overhaul the design of the galaxy S6 as it looks fairly well right now. Thankfully there is no tacky plastic this time around and we are truly happy about that.

The only changes I can spot from the render is the much rectangular home button and apart from that there is not a big deviation from the original design. The Samsung Galaxy S6 sported a fairly big back camera bump which felt a little odd to me personally. I was hoping that the next model will have a plainer back, unfortunately the leaked design still shows the camera bump.

The leaked photos came courtesy of ITSkins who also happen to be case makers for smartphones. The leak also shows a Samsung Galaxy S7 Plus which will be surprisingly of 6 inches size. As always, I urge you to take this leak with a pinch of salt. Who knows, Samsung might release a radically changed flagship next year and take us by surprise. I sure wish that the Korean company added in support for microSD card slots and a removable back cover but hey, we can’t have everything we want right. We will be reporting about the rumors and leaks about the upcoming juggernaut right here on AndroidJunkies.
