Samsung GT-P5200 pops up at AnTuTu

GT-P5200-benchmark

A mysterious Samsung device called the Samsung GT-P5200 has popped up at AnTuTu benchmark and it exhibits a amazing score. The unidentified Samsung GT-P5200 scored an impressive 24616 in the popular benchmarking tool. The score puts the v right next to the Samsung Galaxy S IV and HTC One, which means that the device will be extremely fast and modern.

Not much information is available at this moment but we do know that the Samsung GT-P5200 runs on a 1.6 GHz processor. The 1.6 GHz processor must be at least quad core, well unless Samsung is suddenly infested in using Intel processors in its devices. We can safely assume that the device is running on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 600 quad core processor. The same processor is fitted inside the HTC One which scored 24258 and was clocked at 1.7 GHz. The Samsung Galaxy S4 (U.S/ Europe version) also runs the same chip but it is clocked slightly higher at 1.9 GHz and It scored 25900.The benchmark also revealed that the Samsung GT-P5200 has a screen resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The device is also running on Android Version 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

Judging by the model number of Samsung GT-P5200 we are assuming that it will be a tablet. After all the model number of the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 was Samsung GT-P5100. Is the Samsung GT-P5200 a 10.1 inch version of the recently released Galaxy Tab 3? Well it sure does like that. But the Galaxy Tab series is a little bit affordable especially when compared with the Samsung Galaxy Note tablet series, so maybe it’s another Note tablet. Well as of now all we have is speculations and assumptions. Until the device is announced or there is substantial leak, we won’t be able to come to any conclusion.
