Samsung SM-T310, probably Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 seen at FCC

A device called the Samsung SM-T310 popped up at FCC recently and has the characteristics of being the potential 8 inch Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 Android tablet. The Samsung SM-T310 has also been seen in various reports and almost all of them claim that this tablet is the 8 inch version of the Galaxy Tab 3. Even though the tablet has been appearing in various reports, this is the very first instance that the tablet was seen FCC. The same Samsung SM-T310 was also seen at Bluetooth SIG in late March this year, so there is absolutely no doubt about its existence now that we have seen it on FCC too.

While there is no information regarding the official name of the Samsung SM-T310 device, and the Korean manufacture has yet to official acknowledge the existence officially, the general air is suggesting that this is probably going to be the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0. That assumption is probably made because the Samsung SM-T310 model number is awfully similar to the one used for Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 (Samsung SM-T210). Now that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has already been announced officially, it is really safe to assume that the new Samsung SM-T310 will be the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0.

That’s not all though, the listing states that the Samsung SM-T310 measures 9 inches diagonally, which would be quite enough to put in the 8 inch screen. Apart from dimensions there will be 16 GB of internal storage, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 support. Right now there is no other information regarding the specs of the. We suppose that the Samsung SM-T310/ Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 will be an affordable tablet from Samsung, through in 3G support and you have a winner. We will get back to you after Samsung officially announce the tablet.
