Chinese manufactures are making cheap yet surprisingly amazing smartphones and whether you like it or not, they are a major part of the Android family now. Xiaomi Red Rice is the biggest and the cheapest smartphone from Xiaomi which is going to be released in October. The company has captured a large smartphone share in its home country and has garnered a huge fan following due to its amazing line of smartphones. The major reason of its success is its highly competitive pricing, their flagship smartphones cost around $320 to $370 only and have specs which are common on flagship devices.
The Xiaomi Red Rice is targeted towards the budget market and comes with a price tag of 799 Yuan, which comes around $130. This smartphone is even cheaper than the recently announced Xiaomi Mi2A. The Xiaomi Red Rice is also the biggest smartphone from the company, coming at 4.7 inches diagonally. Other specs include a dual core processor running at 1.2 GHz which is reported a Leadercore LC1810. The 4.7 inch display boasts a HD 720p resolution which is amazing for a device with such a low price tag. There will be 1 GB of Ram and 8 GB of internal storage, the possibility of a microSD card slot is high though.
The Xiaomi Red Rice will pack an 8 MP rear facing camera while the front facing on is a respetciable2 MP. There will be a 2,000 mAh battery tucked inside the Xiaomi Red Rice too. To be honest these specs seem surreal, especially if we consider the price. Well China is the land of wonders, so the Xiaomi Red Rice might be possible.
